Minors Division (9/10 year olds) and Majors Division (11/12 year olds):  $80.00 until March 1st and $100.00 March 1st - March 23rd

Q. Is there a sibling discount?

A. Yes. For those families with siblings in the league, there will be a $15 discount per player.

Q. What does the registration fee cover?

A. The registration fee covers uniform costs, field maintenance costs, insurance, chartering fees, year end awards, facility repairs and improvements, etc. The league is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. If you can not afford the fee we will do everything possible to assist, including potential partial or full scholarships.

Q. Can I request that my child play with one of his friends for ride purposes?

A. In the Development Division, requests can be made for extenuating circumstances. We can often, though not always, satisfy such a request. Upper division teams (Minors & Majors) are selected by draft in an effort to make all the teams as evenly balanced as possible. Your child may or may not play with their friends, but they will make many new friends during the season. Siblings playing in the same division are always placed on the same team.

Q. What equipment will my child need?

A. Players in the Development divisions will need to purchase a baseball glove, long-sleeved T-shirt, pants, belt, athletic supporter (including cup for boys) recommended for all players but required for catchers, and socks. Baseball cleats (rubber) are also recommended. Your coach will recommend the color of pants, socks, and belt to purchase. All players receive a team hat and a jersey will be provided for the season.

Players in the Minors/Majors divisions will need to purchase a baseball glove, long-sleeved T-shirt, pants, belt, athletic supporter (including cup for boys) recommended for all players but required for catchers, and socks. Baseball cleats (rubber) are also recommended. Your coach will recommend the color of pants, belt and socks to purchase. All players receive a team hat and jersey.

Q. How are managers and coaches selected?

A. Manager Nominations are due by the first week in February sending an email to [email protected]. At the February Meeting all nominees will have an opportunity to speak prior to the Board of Directors voting. Once Managers have been selected they are allowed to name up to two Assistant Coaches. All Managers and Coaches must pass the mandatory background check.

Evaluations

Q. Does my child need to attend the evaluation?

A. All players must be evaluated prior to the teams being selected. It is important that your child attend the slot you sign up for. If you have registered but not yet signed up for an evaluation you can click here to sign up when evaluations have opened which is usually in March. This website will be updated when that date has been chosen with pertinent information.

ONLY players in the Majors & Minors divisions will be evaluated for the 2023 season.

Q. Are the evaluations a tryout?

A. The evaluations are not a tryout. They are for the coaches to evaluate players in an attempt to create balanced teams and place kids in the appropriate division of play. Every player who registers will be placed on a team.

Q. Where and when will the Evaluations be held?

A. Evaluations will be held at The On Plane Academy. We are looking to have Majors evaluations scheduled for the Thursday, March 30th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. We are looking to have Minors evaluations on the Friday, March 31st from 5:15pm - 8:30pm.  There are no evaluations scheduled for the Developmental division.

Q. What Should my child bring to Evaluations?

A. Glove, hat, and sneakers (Cleats are not allowed in the gym).  The league will provide a few bats and will also provide batting helmets, but if you have your own bat and helmet you are welcome to bring them.

Q. After Evaluations, when will the draft be held/when can I expect to hear about my child's placement on a team?
A. Drafts will take place the week following Evaluations and coaches will reach out to their teams the following week. Everyone should hear via email or phone from their coach by Monday, April 10th. If for some reason you have not received any communication from your coach, we will also post the rosters on our website.

Divisions

 Q. In what division should my child play?

A. Which division your child belongs in is dependent upon a few factors such as:  age; prior experience and skill level.  Newer players should consider playing at a lower level where the competition and instruction will be more skill appropriate.

To Determine your child's league age you can reference the 2023 LL Age Chart under the "League Info" Section
For a description of each division visit the "Divisions" page under the "League Info" Section.
